We drew inspiration from three prolific Catalan artists that have contributed to the art and sculpture of Barcelona. We studied Albert Rafols Casamada, Eduardo Chillida, and Perico Pastor and interpreted their artistic language in these distinctive penthouse apartments which overlook the sea. We reimagined their painterly and sculptural masterpieces through the use of shapes, forms, materials, patterns and colour.
“I love that which is clean, neatly cut, but it has to be able to extend itself in all directions and by means of this, create distance, it has to be able to produce silence or void according to one’s will so that the form may vibrate.”
Eduardo Chillida
“A line is a point that has gone for a walk”
Perico Pastor
“Colours need to appear on the canvas in the order in which I see them in my memory, but freed of any descriptive function: the colours in themselves. The density, transparency, nebulosity of that instant. Express solely by means of patches of colour, brushstrokes, a space in depth, a space that we can make our way into.”
Albert Rafols Casamada
